MY JOURNEY

My work is grounded in a deep commitment to relationship—both with others and with the inner and outer landscapes that shape us.

I’ve spent much of my life drawn to places where growth asks something of us—within relationships, in groups, and in the natural world.

Since then, I’ve worked with young men in rites of passage settings, supported families and couples navigating betrayal and trauma at The Meadows, and now facilitate intensive group work focused on intimacy and relational patterns at The Begin Again Institute.

Across these settings, one thing has stayed consistent:

Meaningful change happens in relationship—through honesty, accountability, and the willingness to stay present when it’s hard.

My work is especially focused on men and couples.

“Intimacy is the freedom to tell the truth and remain connected.
The work is learning how.”

Whether in a therapy room or sitting in circle, I work to create an environment where people are met with respect, challenged directly, and supported in doing work that leads to real change.

This is work grounded in relationship—and in that willingness to be real - we face the risk and the invaluable reward of a truer connection.

MY APPROACH

Insight alone doesn’t create change.

Most people already have some sense of what isn’t working—but that doesn’t necessarily change how they show up when things get difficult.

I focus on what happens in those moments.

Not just what you think or understand—but how you respond when there’s tension, disconnection, or pressure in your life and relationships.

I’m not interested in staying at the level of insight.

I’m interested in helping you change what you actually do—especially in the moments that matter most.

That means being direct when something isn’t working.
Slowing things down when needed.
And staying with the places that are easy to avoid.

My work is grounded in Relational Life Therapy, with an emphasis on both accountability and respect.

You won’t be shamed—but you also won’t be able to stay hidden in patterns that are costing you.

Over time, this work builds something more solid:

The ability to stay present, respond with intention, and create relationships that feel more honest, connected, and real.

Seth is a practitioner of remarkable heart, intuition, and creativity. His great skill lies in ability to support clients to prioritize relational connection amongst hardship. His work with men invites strength and softness to walk hand in hand.”
