Relational Therapy For Relational Goals
I don’t do Individual Empowerment.
As a Relational Therapist, I help my clients become Relational Individuals.
Together, we uncover dysfunctional patterns, heal the trauma underlying those patterns, and develop skills to behave in line with their values, develop functional relationships, and deepen self-esteem and one’s place in this world.
About Seth
My life’s path has been shaped by a deep and enduring commitment to relationship—both with others and with the wild landscapes of the inner and outer world.
This commitment to cultivate healthy relationality in a world of individualism, emotional numbness, and domination, mirrors my personal journey and is the stake of my heart’s mission to cultivate systemic change for the benefit of our planet and children.
From time spent working with Open Sky Wilderness Therapy in the humbling beauty of the Four Corners, to guiding rites of passage quests for young men, and as a Family Therapist at The Meadows, allowed me to support individuals, couples, families, and groups in cultivating relational resilience, emotional literacy, and functional, fulfilling relationships.
At the heart of my work is a mission to support positive culture change through the relational socialization of men and boys—reclaiming empathy, accountability, and emotional fluency as essential tools for personal and collective healing. Whether in a circle of men, a therapy room, or under a canopy of stars, I continue to be guided by the belief that the health of our relationships defines the health of our lives.
My Approach
While “inner work” can bring us closer to knowing ourselves, it is the relational work my therapy focuses on that translates inner awareness into cultivating relational awareness, relational skills, and a values-aligned life. This is how self-esteem is fostered and where my work seeks to deliver tangible progress. My work is not about individual empowerment but instead relational empowerment. This work is as firm as it is compassionate; work done with the strength of the heart and the clean blade of truth
